Do you love to cycle but feel daunted by motor traffic? Would you like some pointers for safer riding on roads? Are you unsure how to negotiate junctions?
Come to a free taster in cycling road craft through Big Bike Revival in Southampton!
Big Bike Revival in Southampton also includes led rides, Try-a-Bike and Bike2Basics cycle repairs at the Repair Cafe where folks can get their bike checked free of charge and minor repairs completed. Full list here: Transition Southampton

Maximum group size: 6
Participants need to bring a bike that has recently been checked for road-worthiness.
You can get you bike checked free at the Repair Cafe on 7 July (see below).
If you don’t have a bike to hand, you can hire a YoBike for the session.
The session will take place on quiet roads near the Southampton Common.
Participants need to be confident in handling a bike.

Ride on the Common and Sports Centre
Monday 11 June 18:30 – 20:30 Leisurely ride on the Common and Sports Centre plus quiet connecting roads. Meet outside Hawthorns Wildlife Centre, The Common, Southampton.
This ride celebrates some of our wonderful open spaces by bike. It is aimed mainly at people building confidence in cycling and broadening their cycling range. Experienced cyclists would be most welcome to encourage new folks into the joys of the cycling habit. A “Let’s Ride” ride. Book here
